The most typical types of work for Brits in Spain is in bars, hotels or restaurants. If you are going to a resort with a lot of British holidaymakers then you should find a lot of jobs on offer in this type of role. However, that’s not all there is to do here. Away from the beach, Spanish is a major agricultural centre and seasonal workers are needed across the country at harvesting time. You could also look at tour guide jobs or maybe working in a tourist attraction such as a water park or cruise ship. If you have a decent level of Spanish then this will obviously increase your possibilities and you could look at office  jobs, translation or even teaching English as a second language to locals.

Loads of Brits travel to Spanish to work every year but so do other people from all over the world. This is a massively popular destination with workers from Eastern Europe, Latin America, Germany and many other places besides these. It is also surprisingly common to find Spaniards travelling to holiday resorts to look for some summer work away from home.  This means that you could end up with a multi cultural group of friends who teach you a lot about the world and open your opens to new places you could discover later.
